About Us
Scannain Lugh was formed in 2004.Scannain Lugh is a member EUROPEAN DOCUMENTARY NETWORK and SPI.
Created by french film-maker Loic Jourdain and Producer Anne Marie Nic Ruaidhri, this independant Irish Film and Television company offers a full production service from programme concept to delivery.
Loic Jourdain has directed 35 documentaries and shorts for French, Irish and International broadcasters. (La cinquieme, France 3, Arte, TV Breiz, Canal +, History Channel, TG4, BBC NI ..)
Lugh Films is particularly interested in developing transnational co-productions and currently associated with productions companies all over Europe.
Facilities / Service
Based in Derrybeg our equipment and facilities are available for hire.
The company has its own HDV camera with tripod, sound equipment, lights and on-line Avid Media Composer machine (Adrenaline HD, XPress Pro)and HDV player.
